Since 1992 I have sold over 900 hand painted garments/artworks using self taught techniques developed over the years. I am looking forward to passing some of these skills on.Create hand painted machine embroidered textile pictures using photographs, flora and fauna from the garden and your imagination.
Painting on Fabric (Advanced).
This is a follow up workshop and is only available to those who have attended Painting on Denim workshop. Create hand painted, machine or hand embroidered exquisite delicate intricate detailed designs and lettering in textile artworks, using a variety of methods. Some of these methods will be demonstrations only.
Fibonacci Hexagons/Traditional English Hexagon Patchwork.
Summer 1990 Patchwork and Quilting Magazine published my article “Fibonacci Hexagons”Insight into working with the fibonacci sequence of numbers into patchwork. Using glazed cotton chintz in patchwork. Create templates using computer software, design your own work or use my pattern
Crazy Patchwork Waistcoat
In 2010 I was commissioned by Vogue UK to create a waistcoat for a photoshoot. Create a waistcoat.Create crazy patchwork and make it into a waistcoat using your favourite textured fabrics. Demonstration of machine stitches. Please note you may not finish garment during the course of the day so a work sheet will be provided with finishing instructions.

£170 per group at your venue plus travel costs. £35 each person attending a workshop in my studio, minimum three / maximum six. Some materials provided. Happy to give local talks for free. Demonstrations from £50.00.
